Meela Bo-Beela's Journey

Little Meela was diagnosed with a brain tumor this past summer after suffering many frightening seizures. Between spending many nights at the hospital in Sudbury, multiple MRIs and 2 trips to Sick Kids in Toronto, doctors have found that the tumor has grown, which now leads them to believe it may be cancer. They can't know until they see it in real life...which means more trips down south to Sick Kids.

The tumor is growing close to/pushing on a major artery in the brain which could cause a stroke. Meela will most likely be having brain surgery, they are just waiting for more information to make the decision as to when.

There are still multiple planned trips to Sick Kids that will inevitably cost more than any parent plans for. The travel, food, accommodation expenses along with time off of work can really have a fiancial impact on a young family just starting out.

We are reaching out to try and be able to help them out and maybe ease a bit of the financial burden.
