Hello everyone!
We are The Uncle Scooty Campaign and We are committed to providing resources, meals, toiletries, clothing and compassion to our homeless friends in our city. Every Sunday we are on the streets of Chicago checking on our friends, strengthening bonds and providing them with a guaranteed meal for the day!
January of 2018 is when our mission started, and we have since passed out over 5200 meals to our friends in need! This year we are looking to expand with more resources and volunteers so that we can reach more unsheltered friends and provide them housing, treatment, job placement and mentoring. We truly believe that it takes a VILLAGE! We have set a goal of $10,000 to raise for the year of 2019 which will cover over one hundred 6-inch Subway lunches (sub, chips, cookie & water) every Sunday of the year ($350 value), and a hot full-course dinner the 4th Sunday of each month!
