In June this year our beutiful little 4 year old princess Amelia was murdered by her mother Carly, the details of the murder is absolutely horrific, and if that was not traumatising enough for Amelia's family us few that we're close, and the community. Carly was then found not guilty after fooling the justice system faking schizophrenia to avoid prison.
This has left Amelia without a voice, it has devastated an entire community and has shattered the world's of Amelia's family, her dad, brother's grandmother, auntie's, uncle's cousin's ect, the impact is endless the pain they have in their hearts can not be described. And as it stands now we have no closure in this tragedy. Becase Amelia has had no justice.
For us few friends that we're close to Carly before this horrific crime, it has left us empty and broken and betrayed by Carly.
The way the court handled the case from the start was disgraceful. The inconsistencies in carlys statement alone should have been enough to see through her act, but the mistakes they made didn't end there, they didn't give Amelia's family a fair chance to be heard at the trial. For them to challenge Carly in her claims of insanity, we have now been faced with the worst out come of the case as Carly has not been punished for What she done. The way the court room protected Carly was unacceptable the way they ignored important details again unacceptable.
We know that mental health is a sensitive subject so the impact she has had has split the opinions of many.
And for us that have our own genuine mental health problems knowing Carly is faking it is just insulting.
As hard as it is for people to comprehend the whole situation, it is exactly as we say it is.
When you hear Carly's sister tiffany, Carly's oldest boy (who will not be named as he is only 17) Amelia's dad aswell as multiple family members and us friends talk about our time with carly and what we seen what we know to be true, what we suspected but could never prove, u will understand why we all have banded together to fight for Amelia. You can put Carly infront of a professional doctor for days/weeks/months and she will show them what she wants them to see. But In reality nobody knows Carly better than her sister/brother/sons/Amelia's dad. And they all see through the act she put on to get away with murder, my personal experience with Carly I have no doubt in mind she is lying. I have seen how good she is when she's putting on a show. For other members of Amelia's family/friend's/community who had little to no contact with Carly due to her aggressive or innaproriate behaviour towards them, they also see through her act of insanity as they have already experienced a majority of Carly's nasty side themselves.
We are aware we have a difficult fight on our hands, but we have truth on our side, we are not expecting 100% commitment from supporters and we certainly don't expect everyone to agree with our decision to fight For a re trial.
But your patients and kindness would be appreciated as reaching out to the public means flooding our pages with the information we have and the petition that we need completed on our social media,
For all of you amazing people that are following and supporting Amelia you are amazing and we appreciate you all for helping us give Amelia a voice.
