The Football League have excelled themselves this week investigated Accrington Stanley Chairman Andy Holt for saying he pays for the squad to have a McDonalds when they win away from home yet they consistently fail to ensure their member clubs owners are fit and proper, always shying away from the big issues.
This is a tongue in cheek but deadly serious way for ordinary football fans to chip in a couple of quid if they want to to save Andy Holt incurring the wrath of the EFL to buy the teams maccies when they have an away win .
I am not a Stanley fan but a football fan frustrated by the attitude of the EFL.
This is a small way to make an important statement to a toothless organisation who should be encouraging their member clubs not wasting their time on pointless exercises
