RIDLEY BR SOFTBALL WORLD SERIES

The Ridley Babe Ruth District Softball teams would like to thank you for your support of our program. The 2017 season was full of exciting softball! This year's group consisted of an 8u, 10u, and a 12u team who competed for a chance to win the PA District 1 Championship, a PA State Championship, and most recently, a Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship. All teams were competitive in their respective tournaments, earning qualifying bids to the Babe Ruth Softball World Series in Jensen Beach, Florida starting July 28th. A few highlights to capture this season so far:

Each team received an invitational bid to play at the World Series in FL. This is a great honor for these young ladies! They will continue their team practices this week and will travel to Florida on July 27, 2017. In order to make any of this possible, we will need the entire community's help! All proceeds from your donation will assist in offsetting the cost for our families. The costs related to this trip include transportation, gas, and hotel accommodations for 33 plus softball players.

If you can help us get the teams there, we promise that we will continue to work with these teams to teach them the importance of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. We will provide them the opportunity to play safe and highly competitive softball, create lasting memories, friendships and establish strong relationships within the community. We will continue to represent our Ridley community with pRide!
