Maya's Nepal Volunteer Trip

I'm excited to announce that I will be going on another volunteer trip with Reach Out Volunteers! This summer I will be flying out to the Kathmandu Village in Nepal.
During the first week, other volunteers and I will assist locals repairing a school that was badly damaged in an earthquake in 2015. Being with the locals on site each day and getting to know the kids is an amazing experience in itself, but I’ll also be spending my afternoons visiting historical parts of the city, learning to cook the traditional Dal Bhat, learning the basics of the Nepalese language.
In the second week, I'll be trekking up the Himalayas.
Donations will be used for building materials, hiring local laborers to help us rebuild, on-ground transportation, clean food and water, and supporting the local community involved in projects like this.
Because I am a college student, I do not make enough money to pay all these fees. If you choose to donate, not only would it mean so much to me, but to the lives I connect with in Kathmandu.
