Maxol garage development concerns
Donation protected
On Tuesday 19th June, Dublin City Council granted permission for the development of a 5 storey apartment complex at the Maxol garage/Michael Grant property on Beach road. The proposed development consisting of 87 apartments will detrimentally impact St Matthews primary school and the local residents.
As residents the next step is to challenge the decision made by the council by submitting an appeal to Bord Pleanala. This has to be submitted before the 16th July, within 28 days of the permission being granted. Given this very tight timeline and the fact that all the concerns raised in our original observations have been totally ignored by the council, we need to pay for the professional advice of a planning expert.
We would really appreciate if people could donate what they can to pay for a planner so that we can lodge an effective appeal on behalf of the Sandymount residents.
