Hurricane Matthew MCDF helps Haiti

UPDATE: Thank you for all who have donated! The first round of funds has been distributed to the Max Cadet Dental Fund employees and their communities. Kits of water, food, tarp, and clothing were also provided. Employees whose homes were damaged or lost received funds to reinforce or rebuild their homes.

In the aftermath of the destruction caused by Hurricane Matthew, the Max Cadet Dental Foundation (MCDF) is aiding their staff, their families, and their communities that have been directly affected by the storm. MCDF (link below) was founded 25 years ago in honor of our grandfather, Dr. Max Cadet, with the mission of providing free and low cost dental care for our beautiful country. Right now, the grandchildren of Dr. Cadet are making a collective effort to fundraise for MCDF to help the communities that were affected by the most recent natural disaster.
Based in the capital city, Port-au-Prince, MCDF’s staff will be able to buy and take food, water, and clothing to the southern part of the island. In the southern part of the island, Port Salut is an area that experienced serious devastation to the infrastructure of the terrain and its people. Many MCDF employees have lost their homes and belongings while experiencing difficulties with locating love ones.
100% of your donation will be distributed with urgency, not only to support our affected staff and their communities, but they will also stimulate the country's economy during this rebuilding stage. Your contributions will help with rebuilding the lives of our wonderful employees as well as provide food, water and clothing to their communities. We thank you for your consideration and support for the affected Haitian communities.
