Mary and Jamie's Misson Trip

Hi everyone, Mary and I want to tell you about our privilege of traveling to Guatemala this June with a missionary group known as Medical Missions Ministries (mmm-guatemala.com).  The purpose of this short term missions trip is two-fold; the first reason involves providing medical attention to the most neglected and poor in the mountains of Guatemala.  The teams will daily travel to somewhat remote locations with both doctors and a dentist, bringing along medical supplies to help those in need. Our second, and most important purpose, is to bring the good news of an awesome God and His son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.  All our work will be done through local churches so that the local church can continue ministering to these wonderful people after we leave. 
In order for Mary and I to go on this trip we each need to raise $1850 for a total of $3700.  This includes all air fare, meals, lodging and other expenses.  We need to have all of our funds raised by mid-May but need to have at least one-fourth of it raised by early March to pay for our air fare in advance.  This opportunity to serve our Lord by loving and serving His people is a wonderful opportunity to do ministry for both Mary and I and we would be so excited if you would choose to join us in this mission, either with your prayers, financially, or both!
