Ntumba Maria Bukula, I call her mom

Donation protected
As you all know, my mother was everyone in the family's mother. When my grandmother passed in 2002 she took on that role as mother figure for all her brothers, as well as already having Rj & I (Angelique) to worry about. Being from Africa, motherly instincts were ingrained in her being from the very beginning... and having 6 brothers only added to that. No matter what she had at the time, how sick she was, etc... she always made it happen. Not only with her family but with her friends too. She was the most caring person in the world, but she'd also curse you out in a minute. None of us knew this was going to happen. On Thursday, April 13th my cousin Amanda Bukula brought her to the hospital (Pomona) because she was delusional and weak. On that same day she was placed into the ICU, and we were all so confused. She was eventually transferred to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Camden, NJ. They then told us that she was suffering from triple organ failure (both kidneys and liver), bleeding internally, etc. Even through that she was fighting (literally fighting 5 nurses and my Aunt Christa). Throughout the whole time she was in the hospital my father (Reginald Clark) & my aunt Christa stayed with her, from waiting room to waiting room. Eventually she was heavily sedated and barely breathing on her own. We had her on all the machines for a while, playing the waiting game... hoping that she'd wake up and start yelling at us (you'd only know what I'm talking about if you knew her). On April 22nd, 2017 my mom decided her fight was over. There was nothing more the doctors could do for her when her liver gave up completely. I want to thank all of our friends, family, and friends who became family that are helping all of us keep it together right now. After losing Papa back in August, and now losing my mom we lost both the rocks of our family. We were in no way prepared for this (considering my mother was 42 years old) so in lieu of flowers we'd appreciate if you could donate any amount of monetary gifts for funeral costs and for Rj & I (as I'm graduating highschool this year & going off to Rowan University in the fall for my Freshman year of college). Thank you.
