Make Margaret Court Arena Fabulous
Margaret Court has said many atrocious things about the LGTBQI Community and now she is a guest speaker at a Liberal Party Fundraiser in Melbourne on Thursday.
Given there is no political leadership to change the name of Margaret Court Arena (great idea Peter FitzSimons!) - it's time we make it as GAY as possible.
John McEnroe has called on same sex weddings to take place at the Margaret Court Arena once marriage equality is legal here - but we don't think we should have to wait.

To celebrate the end of a massive Pride month we want to make the front of Margaret Court Arena fabulous!
We're talking one of our biggest rainbow chalkings ever, illegal gay weddings and a few surprises. Help us make this a reality!
We are planning this for the afternoon of Saturday 1 July 2017. (If you are based in Melbourne and would like to marry your partner please get in touch at [email redacted] )
Over the last few years we've chalked beautiful rainbows all over Australia and many of our followers have done so all over the world!
This year alone I have organised chalkings at the Russian Consulate in Sydney, at the QVM Markets Midsumma and at World Square during Mardi Gras. But chalk isn't cheap! (Ok it kind of is, $5 a bucket from Lincraft is the best buy #hottip). I've also been a Celebrant to a same sex marriage at Sydney's Pitt Street Mall.
We're asking for small donations to help me and my Facebook live streamer (my partner Stuart) to produce the most fabulous ruckus out the front of the Margaret Court Arena.
We're also in talks with a few well known Melbournites.
We've never asked for funds before for DIY Rainbow activities but activism can get expensive. This money will be spent on:
10 x Buckets of Rainbow Chalk
A Wedding Cake
Subsidising 2 x Qantas flights from Sydney (or Jetstar!)
All excess funds will all be spent on:
Drag Queens
Fire Breathers
Musicians
Performance Artists
Gina Liano
You get the idea! We want to make the MCA an absolutely gay spectacle.
