Please lend your support to Marcus and his family.
As many as you may know, Marcus is suffering from terminal brain cancer and he and his family have suffered greatly over the past 14 months with immense medical expenses combined with Marcus' inability to work on his various projects, catering and of course the backbone of his legacy, the 148 Azabujuban (prev. 148 Hiroo) Restaurant in Tokyo.
We all have all enjoyed to some capacity, Marcus being an excellent and generous host whether it be organising and adding his personal touch to an event with 500+ people or simply sitting down with you to have a chat and perhaps share a glass of 75-year old port to make a meal a little more special.
As the godfather to Marcus' daughter, I would like to do whatever possible to assist Marcus and his family through these very trying and challenging times. Marcus' condition has deteriorated greatly over the past couple months as he fights to survive everyday, I want to lend a hand and help him and his family in anyway possible.
Anything you can contribute would be graciously appreciated as all proceeds will go to supporting the treatment and facilities needed so Marcus can be with us a bit longer, as well as support his wife Takae and two young children Kylie and Hannah.
Thank you so much for taking the time to consider and please pray for Marcus and his fight against this awful disease.
Warmest regards
Skip Hashimoto
