Neverworld
A ‘Gallerist’ recently told me they had enough ‘surrealist’ work for sale at the moment and couldn’t accept any of my pictures, I’ve never ever painted a ‘surreal’ picture, my art pushes the boundaries of ‘impressionism’ any first year art student can see that, but that’s the art world today, controlled by ‘business’ people that think a few glasses of red wine and astronomically priced artwork is enough to bamboozle people into believing ‘they’ know what they’re talking about.
I’m no Picasso painting is simply what I love to do, my big dream like most artists is to just make enough of a living from selling my pictures at realistic prices for everyone. With your help, I can do what any Gallerist does, find some walls, print a catalogue, create my own exhibition and invite people to come along. Maybe I’ll sell a picture or two who knows but in the process I’m sure I will make lots of new friends and share my pictures to anyone that likes any of them with some very special rewards that have a tiny margin that will help enormously towards the costs, 50% commission not included.
Wish me luck!
I want to thank you all for your support and helping me to make my dream come true. I will honour your trust in me and I will keep you updated how i going on with this adventure :-)

My Inspiration:
“Art is when you hear a knocking from your soul — and you answer.” ~Terri Guillemets
Terri Guillemets best describes the spark of inspiration that I experience when beginning a picture, something deep inside that needs to escape onto canvass. For me, anything can trigger the process, a book, music, nothing even, an emptiness that becomes something when translated into colour at a given moment, a place in time captured forever by feeling its life-force and expressing the best I can with paint.
