Audiofeed Fest-Goers—We Need You!

The woman, the myth, the legend...THE Mama Linda needs our help!

It’s impossible to understand how important Mama Linda is to the Audiofeed community. For years we have brought her our tired, dirty and hungry bandmates and volunteers. She doesn't just fill our bellies with her amazing camp cuisine—she's also got a whole lot of love for our mangy, unshowered selves. (You really have to love hard to smell past the nastiness of a bunch of rockers covered in nasty camp juices).

Mama Linda and her team work tirelessly during the fest to keep helpers fed and watered so that ALL fest goers can enjoy themselves. By making sure that those who entertain us and care for us are eating and drinking, fest directors can keep ticket sales affordable and create a hospitable space for volunteers to rest and recuperate.

But it takes more than will and elbow grease for her and her team to get to Audiofeed. Mama Linda suffered the loss of her trailer last year, which created a stressful scenario involving a lot of money out of her own pocket, unplanned rentals and creativity to make the hospitality tent happen that same year. If it weren’t for her sacrifice and determination, the 2017 fest wouldn’t have been the same.

Now it's time for us to give back and show her how much we appreciate our mom-away-from-home!

Wanting to help ease her stress, Audiofeed 2017 campers rallied together before Flatfoot 56’s set and raised $1,130 to put towards a new trailer. You guys are AWESOME!

We will need a little more money to consistently send Mama Linda to Audiofeed in reliable style. So if you want to say thank you to this culinary legend that makes it possible for EVERYONE to have a great fest, please consider giving what you can to show your support. Dig down into those pockets, empty your coffers and skip a few cups of coffee this week! (Or at least skip the Starbucks and get a dollar cup at McDonalds)

We'd love to hit our goal BEFORE the fest so that she can save her creativity for the kitchen and NOT for dreaming up a new scheme to get her and her thousands of pounds of kitchen gadgets to the hospitality tent. So please don't hesitate; no matter how little (or how much) you have to give, your donation matters. Please join together and give what you can to keep this community hero going strong.
