Make It Green in Maryland Heights

Creve Coeur Lake Park  is the beloved centerpiece of thousands of acres destined for rapid development.  As little as we want this unique area to change, it is threatened by typical suburban sprawl.

We want to promote sustainable development and conservation options in the Maryland Park Lake District (Howard Bend area) to:

1.  Protect open space
2.  Improve habitat (for people and wild life)
3.  Find innovative solutions for storm water
4.  Promote community identity
5.  Create economic value

What can we do?  Nothing without you!

MHRRG in partnership with the Eastern Missouri Chapter of Sierra Club has hired a consultant to study sustainable development and conservation options near Creve Coeur Park.   This study jump starts the practical conversation of how to encourage development that also respects natural resources and community values.

Maryland Heights Residents for Responsible Growth  is a grass-roots organization that has worked vigorously since 2008 to promote responsible development in Maryland Heights.  i5Group , a locally based planning firm, is conducting the study.
