Make Bill Run!

ToyPrints is an organization created to help the children of Austin. We provide the opportunity for victimized and underprivileged children to design something they love with the help of a 3D printer.  ToyPrints provides children with the opportunity to learn skills that will help them for a lifetime by planting a seed of hope.  We do this by arranging unique educational training activities at foster care homes, schools and other locations where we can positively help children.  

Our current presentation agenda:
- Educate a group of children (roughly 20-30) in 3D printing technology 
- Show them how this technology can change the world
- Invite the children to design a toy of their own
- ToyPrints creates the toys and delivers them back a week later

The process of connecting technology to the love children have for toys provides a bridge between their dreams and a skill/interest that can empower them to create a new future.
 
ToyPrints has successfully presented to a number of foster care homes in the Austin area, and we have had the joy of gifting dozens of local children the toys they've designed.

One of the founders, Bill Paul, is running a 50k (31.1 mile) race on February 9th.  Every dollar donated goes directly back to the organization, for tools and supplies to help give back to these kids.
