Maine-Tex Commercial Kitchen

With the changing dynamics of our world, we have come to a place where nearly everyone has someone in their family or a close friend whose lives are impacted by autism.  My son, Bryce, now 18, was diagnosed sixteen years ago and as a single mom, I was thrown into a world I knew nothing about.  Experience is a great teacher and I continue to fight to improve my son’s quality of life every day, as do many other folks with whom we have crossed paths.  We “accidentally” started this company by one single photo posted on social media back in 2014.   Within two weeks we had 109 orders, an attorney, a food scientist, and the USDA involved in our lives.   Our family business has grown exponentially and three weeks ago, we were offered an amazing opportunity to take over a former bakery with a storefront/bistro.  Having this commercial kitchen will enable us to get FDA approval, which means we can sell across state lines and over the internet.  As ever, it takes money to make money, and we are asking for your help to get our commercial business off the ground.  The success of our company will not only provide meaningful employment for Bryce, but also for other individuals on the autism spectrum as our business grows.  Be sure to check us out at your local Hannaford’s, and thanks in advance for any support you are able to provide.  It is appreciated more than you will ever know.
