Ted Barnes Battling Cancer

PRAYERS NEEDED SO MUCH PLEASE !!!!! My younger brother Ted Barnes, whom has gone through 3 open heart surgeries in his life and is only 54 years old, Went to walk in clinic first thing this morning after several weeks of pain in his leg, hip, and back. Also, having periodic headaches. They immediately took him to emergency room for tests and he was admitted. The initial tests have come back with a mass on his lung and several brain lesions. They believe the brain lesions are what is causing the pain in his leg. His lymph nodes are also swollen. Today’s test will include a C scan. Tomorrow they will do a scope to scrape his lung to get a biopsy to determine the type of cancer it is and their next course of action. The Doctor said Ted is in Stage 3 already. Probably no surgery because there is cancer in several places. They said they would treat it aggressively with chemo and radiation. Doctor said Ted's outlook is since he's young and strong that his life will still have quality and quantity. Ted looked me in the eyes and said, Tom, all I want is to live and be able to enjoy life a little longer with all his loved ones. I told him that is not too much to ask for. So I am asking from all the Ted's family and friends, could you please pray for Ted and that he comes out of this with a bright future. God Bless Ted, his Doctors and Nurses throughout his process and Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts from the Barnes family. I told Teddy, "Mom is not ready to see you up in Heaven for a long time yet, Brother" Asking, Dear Lord, just how much does Ted have to go threw in one's lifetime. Teddy is a good man with much love in his heart for all that he loves. Love you brother
