Save a Kitty's Life !

Hi,

I recently moved to a new house where I started getting regular visits from a stray black cat. I slowly earned her trust by leaving milk out for her and blankets for her to stay warm and comfortable. Now that it is getting cold, though, I am really worried about how this cat will survive the cold! I managed to get a local animal shelter to take care of her, but they are always strained for resources and cannot take care of her for long. Please help me raise money to adopt this cat, so it doesn't freeze out in the cold!

The costs of taking the cat come up to about $1700, but I want to raise $2000 in case of emergencies and to ensure this cat gets the best quality care. The cost breakdown is below:

Adoption Fee ($150) includes:
First vaccine
First deworming treatment
Health exam at the Shelter
Health exam at a participating veterinary clinic
Microchip and/or tattoo
Information on how to care for your adopted cat
Spay/neuter surgery
Pet insurance for 6 weeks after adoption
Access to our behaviour helpline
Six-month cat licence

Yearly Cost ($963.00+$48.15tax) includes:
4 cans of cat food (396g) per month @ $2.00 a can $96.00
4lb bag of dry food per month @ $20.00 each $240.00
3oz bag of cat treats per month @ $5.00 each $60.00
Yearly visit – exam and vaccinations $120.00
Nail trimming every 2 months @ $15.00 a trim $90.00
Litter and Supplies
