Help Filmmakers Replace Stolen Gear

Donation protected
Zach Jankovic, owner of Cut to Create, and his crew were robbed yesterday. He and his team were filming some footage around Houston for a video to promote Houston as a great place to buy real estate. The police have all of this information but have yet to find the thief or the equipment.

The total net worth of the equipment that was stolen is $10,000. While Cut to Create has business liability insurance, certain parts of their equipment package are not covered (a little more than $5,000 worth of equipment needing to be replaced). They are a small business that supports the Houston economy by adding local jobs and producing high quality videos that highlight the best that Houston has to offer.

If there’s anything you can do to help them get back to work it would be greatly appreciated. Also, they will be donating 50% of the proceeds in excess of $5,000, the replacement cost of their equipment, to Bayou Greenways. By 2020 Bayou Greenways will add 1,500 acres of new parkland and 80 miles of new trails within the limits.
