Morningside Christmas Light Night

Every year the community comes together to enjoy the Christmas Lights being switched on in Morningside. For the past two years the City Council haven't been able to fund the event so a small band of volunteers have been running the event but we still need money for the equipment and the compere. Lots of locals schools and businesses help out but money is always in such short supply. Please if you can spare any amount, however small please contribute. This event is important to our community and does help to keep that spirit alive. 

Your donations are very gratefully received and put to good use, anything we have left over will go towards next year and the money is kept nice and safe by South Morningside Parent Council. 

The event will take place on Friday the 7th of December, starting at 5pm and finishing at 6pm. There will be special guest appearances from St. Peter’s and South Morningside Primary School Choirs and from the City of Edinburgh Schools Pipe Band. All delivered to you by your host Dougie Robertson.
