Miracles for Lubasi Home Orphanage

 Lubasi Home is located in Livingstone, Zambia. It provides residential care for orphans and vulnerable children who have no family to care for them. Lubasi takes in children aged 3 to 18 years and aims to care for them until they are able to sustain themselves. 

 In October 2015, I was fortunate enough to make the trip to Lubasi Home’s and experience the lifestyle for 4 weeks. It was a journey that I have always wanted to partake in and it proved to be one the most rewarding experiences. It opened my eyes to a completely different way of life and taught me that the simplest things in life are what matter the most. There is no better feeling then being welcomed into a community that has so little yet are so content with life that they are willing to share what they do have with you. 

 Since leaving Zambia, all I have thought about is what I can do to make the people of Lubasi’s lives that little bit better. This is where Go Fund Me comes in. 

 I have decided to make another trip to Lubasi Home’s to surprise the children in April 2016. As the orphaned children of Lubasi have no permanent donor, they struggle with the simplest things such as food and clothing. It costs approximately $3 per day to feed, clothe, house and educate each orphaned child. This includes staff salaries. This is where my community in Australia come in. 

 I ask that anyone, please donate even the smallest amount to help make a difference to the orphaned children of Lubasi. The smallest contribution can go a long way. There would be no greater pleasure than to be able to show the Lubasi Community that people from my home country are helping to make a difference in their lives. 

 All money donated will go to Food, Education, Clothing, Community Activities and Renovations needed to help improve the daily lives of each and everyone.
