Loving Father Diagnosed with Cancer

On July 9th, my husband Cody Parsons underwent surgery to remove his left testicle due to pain and enlargement. After biopsied we were notified that it was in fact testicular cancer and we were referred to an oncologist here in Crossville. He ordered a CT scan on Thursday of last week. Upon his appointment today we were notified his cancer had moved to his lymph nodes in his abdomen and chest. He is now waiting to begin 3-4 months of chemotherapy. Without health insurance he is not receiving care as quickly as he could be due to having to come up with the money. We have drained ourselves dry paying doctor and hospital bills. We have applied for assistance and state health insurance, the assistance is lengthy and state insurance denied him. Cancer doesn't care about that. We are trying to have a 2nd child as well as these months of chemotherapy will unfortunately sterilize him. This has absolutely broken our hearts for ourselves and our almost 3 year old baby boy Christian. Cody is the most dedicated and honest man I've ever met in my entire life, he does not deserve this diagnosis. He is an exceptional father and loving loving husband.
