Loveland Center Eagle Scout Project

Hello my name is Jonathan Dreier. I am an Eagle Scout Candidate with Troop 26 located in Englewood, Florida.  As an Eagle Scout Candidate I am required to complete a philanthropic project to fulfill the requirements for Eagle Scout. My project will be completed at the Loveland Center of Venice, a non-profit center that treats people with developmental and physical disabilities with daily and residential programs for the last 50 years.

I will be restoring the center's floral and vegetable garden. The project will consist of cleaning and replanting all of the beds, pressure washing all surfaces, building four new ADA compliant planting boxes, restoring the covered work area and tables, staining all wood structures, and installing new outdoor fans.

The purpose of this project is to provide an area where the people and residents of the Loveland Center of Venice will be able to learn new skills and empower them to be independent.
