Lou Herfurth Crash Recovery

Hi I’m Sheryl Herfurth, Lou’s wife. As most of you know Lou had a terrible crash this past weekend while racing.  If you know Lou he is never one to ask for help! I think there’s to much stupid pride in him... Yet, in the time Lou and I have been together he is always eager to help others. Since the crash, along with an overwhelming amount of well wishes, I have been contacted numerous times from people wanting to offer help. I go into this reluctantly but we don’t know what we are going to be faced with with hospital bills from 2 different hospitals and med transportation.  The hospital has already wanted to put this under automative insurance, so we don’t know what kind of fight we are in for there either.  Also, if you know Lou, this isn’t going to discourage his passion for racing and the racing community.  I’m thinking we could use any gifts to cover whatever the insurance doesn’t on medical side.  
Any remainder would be used to help Lou get back in the saddle.  
This is a very hard step to take, as even before Lou, I always figured things out on my own.  Having said that we would be grateful for any help anyone would offer.
