My brother, Don Howard, his wife, Kimm Howard and two kids, Angela and Nicholas Howard lost their house and all their belongings to the Tubbs fire in Santa Rosa.

My name is Brian Howard and I live in Petaluma, California . I have been helping my brother's family  who lost everything  in this disaster through this campaign.

I started this campaign to help  my brother and his family rebuild their lives .  The  money raised in this campaign is going directly to them to buy whatever they need-food  and  clothing etc.

This campaign is intended for family members and friends to donate to  Don and Kimm's family in the easiest manner possible.

Any help anyone can offer them is appreciated!

Hello Everyone,

Today we are celebrating Angela’s birthday! It will be nice to get together.

Today I purchased some UCLA clothing for Angela because she lost all her clothes that were left at home in the fire.

It is nice to try and help re-purchase some of the clothing items she used to wear that reminded her of her undergraduate experience!

Any way please donate if you can-every penny helps.

On the lot news I believe Don and Kimm decided to go with FEMA and the Army Corps of engineers to clear their lot and likely the neighbors are doing the same.

This week BC (little Brian) came home from college and we drove by the neighborhood.

We both experienced nausea right away-not sure if it was the shock of the experience or just all the toxins that are permeating the air-it was terrible and we decided not to go back again until all the lots are cleared.

We hope FelMA and the Army Corps do a good job of removing the toxins-seems terribly unhealthy.

Thanks for your support of Don, Kimm , Angela, Nick and their dog.

Please spread the word and share their story on Facebook with family and friends.

Hello Everyone,

The family got together this past weekend to support Don and Kimm.

It is the first time since the fire that most of our large family was able to get together.

Don and Kimm are amazing people and I am so glad to have them survive this fire.

Don recounted how he and a neighbor went door to door on their block waking up neighbors and helping them get out. This was the first time I heard this and had no idea that they did this while the neighborhood was burning down all around them. They also tried to save 4 houses that were the last to burn down in the neighborhood including their own.

It was a valiant effort by all accounts, but in the end they had to be told to leave by the firemen and sheriff who arrived otherwise they may not have survived.

I am so grateful for their efforts and the first responders who got them to leave-not an easy task because they knew if they left those last 4 houses would burn down...and they did as you know..

Now Don true to his nature is working with his neighbors on ensuring they work toward a united front on the clean-up process to ensure that if they work with FEMA they do the job right-it is very complicated given the conditions of the area-I appreciate Don's attempt to help his neighbors when he too needs someone to help him-that's Don though...he has a warrior's spirit!

Also today my cousin in Atlanta Georgia called and said her cousin who works for homeland security is working with the National Guard watching over the Coffee Park neighborhood-small world and many blessings coming our way.

There was a report on Vice News about what the National Guard is doing now to help-see the link below.

Thanks to everyone who are supporting Don and Kimm and their family which is enabling them to help others!

PS The flag in the first shot of Vice News was put there by Don.

This morning Angela Howard, my niece who lost all her belongings when her house burned down in the Tubbs fire , came back from college to bring supplies she gathered from companies in San Jose to give to shelters in Santa Rosa and to her friends who also lost their homes.

If you read my post last night then you can see a positive attitude runs in her family . When I asked Angela what do you need she turned and asked me what I needed...

Please continue to support Angela and my brother's family by donating to this campaign and sharing it with family and friends who know them.

Thank you for your support!
