We're a citizen group that's advocating for the passage of the Los Alamos County 2017 Recreation Bond.
These facilities will benefit everyone in our community in some fashion. Investing in our community to make it an even better place to live, work, and recreate is one of the few ways that our town can support the Laboratory.
Existing facilities aren't keeping up with demand and as a result, our children and adults are limited in their play or have to travel to other counties to use facilities in other communities.
Improvements to our recreation facilities are warranted and will add many new opportunities for people to have fun and be healthy.
We need your help to get this bond passed.
100% of your donation will be used to spread the word throughout our community about the projects; the reasons why our community should support it; and how the bond will impact property taxes.
We'll spend all of the money to buy advertising and develop informational materials. Additionally, many residents are volunteering their time to plan and participate in events, knock on doors, and encourage their family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to vote Yes.
