BSA Troop 724 Flags for Heroes

Boy Scout Troop 724 is an all Special Needs Troop sponsored by Amvets Post 1 in Kirkwood Missouri. The past 3 years we have been doing Flag retirements and asking the public for donations to replace aging flags at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  The first year we raised enough money to purchase 2600 flags. The second year we matched that figure. Our third year we doubled this, and in 3 years we have purchased a total of 15,000 flags . Our goal this year is $ 6,000.00, with the publics help we can raise these funds and provide new pristine flags for the Heroes that have given so much so we can enjoy the Freedoms we have.
