Losing my hair for Littleham Community Café
Donation protected
I am just an ordinary Granny facing an extraordinary event and dealing with it the only way I know how. With the prospect of losing a good chunk of my hair anyway, owing to pending surgery, I decided to go completely bald for a worthy cause. My intention was to turn a potentially negative situation into a very positive one. I was looking for a project to benefit others whilst firmly pointing to the God who has sustained me through this latest challenge.
Littleham Community Café ticks all the boxes, as it 's a joint venture between St Margaret and St Andrew's Church (where I'm a parishioner) and the Wave pioneer Church for the benefit of our local community. Proposed for Summer 2019, the project will set up a pop-up café in Littleham Leisure Centre over the school summer holiday for one day a week. If this trial is successful, the organisers hope to establish the café permanently.
All donations go directly to The Wave Church, and any support you can give will be gratefully received.
