Lily Love Skeen is 4 and lives in The Woodlands, Texas with her dad, Daniel, mom Christel, her brother Forest 10 and her sister Maggie 13.
On September 16, 2016, Lily went to visit her Pediatrician for a possible ear ache. Later that same day, Lily was admitted to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. The next day, she was diagnosed with Leukemia .
A few days later , Lily underwent a lumbar puncture and bone marrow biopsy. Her first round of chemo began a few days later.
Lily has many family and friends for support. Lily is a fighter and like other little girls her age she loves princesses, Frozen is one of her favorite movies, she loves popcorn, sprite and beans and rice. She loves dressing up and playing princess.
We want to thank everyone for the positive thoughts, prayers and support especially though these first few months adjusting to this new way of life. There are so many people looking to help so we’ve started with this page in hopes of raising money for our family to offset costs of medical expenses, parking and loss of wages, Christel will be taking time off of her job to care for Lily full-time and be with her for her chemo and other procedures.
