LIGHTNING RANCH

My name is Mary and I am 70 years old. I took my inheritance and purchased an old dude ranch by the name of Lightning Ranch in Pipe Creek, Texas. My goal is for this Ranch to be for the kids and community.
The Ranch will be a functioning ranch and also a teaching Ranch. We will have rodeos, concerts, livestock show and anything that will fit in our arena. The 4-H and FFA will have the areana use donated.
The plan is to have aquaponics, petting zoo, milk goats and many activities for the kids. Schools will be able to bring the students out and they will be shown how to take care of a horse, milk a goat and then make butter out of the cream off the milk.
All the cabins have had to be remodeled and some replaced. The arena was in terrible condition and the dining room did not have a working kitchen attached.
I have upgraded fences, cabins, arena and am on the last leg of the journey. I need funding to finish the arena and complete the new kitchen. I did not realize that the banking laws had changed and when I went to the bank to borrow they said because I sold my money makers that they could not help me. All I have is my social security coming in at this time. I am so close to having the arena finished and have events that will sign contracts the moment that it is completed.
When all of this is finished it will be put into a non-profit foundation to be here for years. There is so much more I could tell but it would take pages.
