A Liberty Swing for Dubbo
( a swing designed for disable people )
Imagine a world where we could all play together ?
Children with a disability and able bodied children together in one playground.
A Liberty Swing will allow this to be a reality.
There are 100s of children and adults in Dubbo currently in wheelchairs. It is a sad fact that these children are only able to sit on the sidelines and watch other able bodied children play on play equipment.
This just breaks my heart.
As a community I ask we come together and raise funds to make atleast one of our Dubbo parks to be "inclusive play" i mean its 2017, all parks should be !
Imagine the joy on these kids faces when they are on a swing for the first time ! imagine the smiles on the face of there parents when they see there child on a swing for the first time.
To install one of these amazing swings in Dubbo it will cost $35,000 Dubbo city council are suporting this cause by offering to pay $15,000 for planing, instalation & fencing which we are very greatful for. So that leaves us as a commuity to raise the remaining $20,000.
The support off the commuity gave me the courage to start this campgaine, so for me personaly I cant thank everyone enough.
Weather you donate $1 or $1000 we are humbly greatful and you can rest asured your donation will be putting a smile on many disabled children and adults.
