WHATS GOING ON!?!?
We are excited to announce that our adopted son, Zariyan (pronounced Za-ryan) Cruz Lewis, will be born mid May in California! His mother has named him starting with a Z to match his older siblings who we hope to meet while we are out there. Since his mom has had previous c sections, it seems likely this will be planned ahead of time and we'll get to be there when he's born!
WE NEED PRAYER AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT!
Let's get the elephant out of the way. $40,000 is a lot of money. Additionally, adding a third child under age 3 will be a growing experience - literally and figuratively. It's not abnormal for adoptions to be expensive, but there are several factors that make ours a little extra expensive: medical care required for the birth mom, higher cost of living in California, higher rates for attorneys in California, expenses associated with ensuring mom (and baby) remain healthy, etc. We are so thankful that God has provided us this opportunity and we trust that He will continue to provide throughout this journey. We need both your financial support, and your prayers.

SHARE - We've already put together our list of who we're sharing this with, but imagine how much farther we could go if you shared this with just 10 friends! Tell them how you know us, how important adoption is and, most importantly, to donate and share!
PRAY - With such a big transition for our whole family, your prayers are needed! Pray for safe delivery for the first mom and for baby Cruz. Pray for Pax and Tin adjusting to their new baby brother. Pray for us as we learn how to parent 3 under 3. And pray for our relationship with Cruz's first mom, as we lay the groundwork for what we hope will be a lifelong relationship.
THE PLAN:
Step 1 - We have emailed this to 100 people who we know love and care for us. 100 people x $40 = $4,000
Step 2 - We have asked those 100 people to share it with 10 people. Assuming half those people give... 100 people x 10 people / 2 = 500 people x $40 = $20,000
Step 3 - If those 500 people who give, each can share with 10 close friends - and only 1 of their 10 decides to give... 500 people x $40 = $20,000
Step 4 - Repeat step 3 until we are fully funded.
If a group of ordinary people can band together to give, share, and pray - we can easily fully fund this adoption quickly!
