Harmony For Park Board!!
Harmony's campaign to be elected to the Park Ridge Park District Board is in full swing. Quite frankly, the grassroots response has been nothing short of inspiring. People care about our community and particularly our Parks! In talking to voters, Harmony hears you and understands that Park Ridge residents want responsible, conscientioius and new leadership in local government. She hopes to be your voice. As her husband, I know she'd bring her compassion, intelligence and tireless work ethic to the Board in the best interests of our community.
To keep the momentum going, we have created this GoFundMe page. Our goal is simple -- raise $1,000.00 to help fund this local campaign with only low dollar contributions. To this point Harmony's campaign has been 100% self-funded. We never had any intention in fundraising. But in just one weekend, she allocated all of her yard signs. We have a large shipment of new signs coming March 1st as many friends, supporters and neighbors continue to make requests. Harmony is both overwhelmed and humbled by the support she is receiving. We would like to keep up the pace to stay competitive but ONLY will do so at small dollar contribution amounts. This should be a community effort for the community and Harmony wants everyone and anyone that cares about our Parks to be involved!
If so inclined, we'd ask that you donate as little as $1.00 but no more than $20.00. With these funds, Harmony wants to touch as a many residents as possible in the final days and weeks of this campaign. Turning support into actual votes is critical in this race. From the start Harmony has been "all in" and continues to seek your support!
Harmony's desire to bring a common sense and consensus building approach to local government has been received very positively by the community. As an attorney and government affairs professional with public sector budgets, legislative, regulatory and compliance experience Harmony is uniquely qualified for this position.
As a mother of three elementary school-age children, who regularly use the Park District services, Harmony knows what is needed to bring our facilities up to par with our neighbors but in a fiscally responisble way. To that end, Harmony is steadfastly committed to be a steward of the hard earned Park Ridge taxpayer dollar. Simply put, she believes we can do more to our facilities with what we already pay!
The push to election day and putting Harmony on the Board starts now!
