Lets help an honest hard working man!

Earlier this afternoon I was driving down airline highway in BR, in a hurry as usual and saw this gentleman, Mr. Efrem Hernandez, walking and pushing his bike. Wasn’t sure what was going on as I passed him up so I made a U-turn and went back and asked him where he needed to get. He told me Iroquois street, close to south Acadian. I told him I knew exactly where that was and to put his bike in the back, climb inside, and would take him there. This man rides his bike about 20 miles each way to work in Ascension parish, rain or shine, and has been for four years.

We are asking for help to get him a dependable vehicle and additional funds to help with some vehicle expenses etc. It's hard to imagine having to walk or ride a bike 20 miles a day to go to work.  Bless him and many others like him!
