We are raising money as a community to purchase an OmniMaxx Pet Finder to be given to the Linden Police Department so that they can quickly reunite tagged pets with their owners. I as Councilman, am facilitating this process.
Although the City contracts with NEWARK AHS, a fee is usually required to pick up your pet if it is found and sent to the shelter.
By buying this petfinder for our PD, we can quickly reunite pets with their owners without having to send them to AHS.
There are various models of the OmniMaxx Pet Finder, so we will look to buy the best one with the amount of funds that are donated.
All money collected will be temporarily collected by myself in my own bank account and immediately turned over in check form to the City of Linden, NJ to be used to the purchase of these OmniMaxx Pet Finders.
