A tribute to Leo Garcia.

A few of us got together the other night to try and come to grips with the loss of our dear friend, Leo Garcia. It was that morning that we were given the terrible news. That whole day felt like an out of body experience as I – like I'm sure many of you – tried to understand why he was taken so soon. His loss is still something I'm still trying to digest, and I think I can speak for all of us when I say it. 

I'm pretty sure we all agree that Leo's laugh was distinct and trully infectious. It made you smile every damn time you heard it, and the thought of it always will. I can't remember a time when Leo didn't greet you with a huge hug and a hi-five. He was always excited to see his friends and family.

I think it's safe to say that I'm not the only one who's had his ass completely saved by this man. Leo ALWAYS had your back – no matter what. Some of us were lucky enough to hear Leo spin records. If you did, you'd wonder why he was working the door and not in the DJ booth. He was a silent DJ, and very humble of his abilities

As a group, we decieded to put together this page to pay our respects and raise a few dollars to help with Leo's funeral arrangements. Your donation will go directly to Leo's mother, Maria at his service next Saturday, May 7th.

We'll miss Leo dearly. His kindness, love and generosity will never be replaced. Thank you and God Bless.
