Legal Funds For my Son Custody Case

Donation protected
I came to the United States on May 2014 to live with my sister in Ohio. I stayed and was content but a year and a half later, I met someone who lived in Florida whom I felt he was nice to me. We talked on the phone for about a month when he decided to come to Ohio to meet me.
During the visit, he was wonderful and treated me like a queen so on the fourthday when he proposed to me, I said yes.

I moved to Florida where we got married on October 14, 2015. I was so happy in the beginning until the real side of him started coming out. He began to put me
down with his words and mentally and emotionally abused me. He would ignore me or be mean and insult me. He stopped me from communicating with my father
and he was rude and insulting towards my mother and sister. I had no means of transportation so I couldn’t even go to the store to get food when he left me alone.
I realized that I was living in a nightmare with someone who was paranoid and controlling.
The only way I could get along with him was to be a dutiful servant and obey his orders. He didn’t want a loving relationship, he wanted a wife to cater to his needs and demands. I lived with him because I loved him but I didn’t like the man he became and was afraid of him.
In June of 2016, I became pregnant and I thought that the baby would help us become a happy family until I discovered that when my baby was born, he was
planning to take my baby to Turkey so his family could raise him. That scared me so much that I asked my mother to come to Florida and help me through the birth of my child and be with me afterwards.

My son, Saleem was born, on February, 2017 and my husband didn’t show love towards our baby. He was rude to my mother and was nasty to me. All my dreams of happiness dissolved to wake up on nightmare of the nasty divorce.
Now we are in the process of a divorce and the weapon he is using, is the threat to take my baby away. He hasn’t shown love for my baby, he has never offered financial support for the baby, all he wants is for me to come back to him.
He has hired lawyers and a private investigator and it’s difficult for me to afford to fight a custody battle for my son. My mother and sister have helped a bit and what
money I can earn, I use to take care of Saleem. I need help. I don’t want to lose my son and unless I can get some financial support, I’m not sure what will happen to
us.
