Please help fund the ongoing legal appeal against the illegal and unconscionable decision of the UK Home Office to permanently split up our family.
We are fighting the anonymous decision of the Home Office Entry Clearance Office known only as "AG" to permanently split up our family, by denying the spouse visa to New Zealand woman Sarahjane de Lacy, wife of nine years to Englishman Richard, and mother of their eight-year-old daughter, Kathryn.
All criteria were met and a lengthy and harmful separation and financial hardship endured, yet the Home Office claimed the decision took into account the rights of "any relevant child."
Kathryn has not been home to the UK since February 2019, as her mother remains without a visa.
Please help our ongoing legal fight to overturn this decision and to get Kathryn home and her family reunited as soon as possible.
Although our hopes were raised by an email from the Home Office stating that the decision had been overturned, the legal appeal lodged on September is pressing ahead and our costs are mounting.
This whole nightmare of the Home Office's making has cleaned us out financially. Richard and Kathryn have a right to a family life in the UK. If you can spare a bit, please help us pay our legal fees to get us reunited sooner.
We have been separated for more than eight months and our child is becoming increasingly distressed.
