Legal Fee Fund for Alex Wrekk

Hello all in receipt of this plea.

I am writing to ask you for your help for a member of our community. Alex Wrekk, a treasure to the zine community and all-around wonderful person, needs our help.

She's being sued by Joe Biel in Portland, Oregon. We can't discuss specifics, but needless to say, lawyers are expensive, and she can't do this alone. 

That's where we come in. 

The amount of the goal is not the total cost of litigation, but is the best guess for what's needed in the immediate moment. Court cases can often be ongoing, but this is a good start for now

Please share this request with people whose lives have been enriched by Alex and believe in her. Share it within your circles to support her in this very difficult time. Please give what you can.

Any excess donations will be funneled to the Bradley Angle (https://bradleyangle.org/), an organization whose mission is to "serve all people affected by domestic violence. We do this by placing people experiencing—or at risk of—domestic violence at the center of our services and providing them with safety, education, empowerment, healing, and hope."
