A Cry For Help

My name is Miriam Lorenzo, I am the mother of Edgar Muñoz. He now go by DC124640. We need funds to hire a private investigator and legal representation after reopening his case.This letter is wrote by him;
Edgar (DC124640).
This letter is a plea for help. In 1998, at age 19, I frequented a housing project and associated with people I had no business with; I was indicted for a self defense crime. The witnesses in my trial were in my favor except for two of them. One was a convicted habitual offender who was discredited, and released back into society in exchange for his testimony against me. The other a known habitual liar and convicted felon who I grew up with. He was threatened to be handed over to another state for charges pending and was coached into declaring a given statement then released as part of the deal made to him. The evidence did not sustain a proper conviction and ended in a mistrial. However, I was unjustly sentenced to life in prison. The judge denied my right to a new trial, he stated, “the case is to confusing”. I’m no menace to society and am looking for a second chance to live, now at 44 years old. I plan to share my experiences to help and mentor adolescents to make better choices in life, I implore the help of the community for assistance to raise funds for an effective defense attorney that will bring justice in this case.
Sincerely,
Thank you, this is not easy for us, but he need a chance.
