Lars Fund

Please help!! My German Shepherd Lars has two infections going on that both need surgery ASAP. He has an impacted tooth giving him a hard abscess on his face right below his eye and yesterday I noticed a huge bump on the side of his butt and just started to cry because I do not have the money for a Vet. This morning I woke up and noticed the bump on his butt has grown to the size of a softball. It's so big it's pushing his tail to the side. This is my sweet boy, he has been by my side for 8 years. I rescued him during a trip to LA to give money I had raised to help a German Shepherd I saw online that had been severely abused and starved and that’s how I came across my Lars. He was 6 months old when he went to a shelter and had been scheduled to be put down several times and would have been if it wasn’t for West Los Angeles German Shepherd rescue moving him from shelter to shelter. He spent the first year of his life with no family and in and out of shelters. He has been the best dog and I could not imagine my life without him. I love animals and over the years have help to raise money for a lot of animals, and now I find myself in this situation. I have been going through financial problems for the last 2 years and am struggling with my own health situations, but I put him first, he is starting to feel pain I can see it in his eyes. He desperately needs a Vet and I do not have any money at all. He needs to be on medication because both the tooth and the bump on his butt are infected, and they both require surgery. I am asking for any help I can get. Even to get him medication to stop the infection would be helpful anything. I can’t lose my Lars he is my best friend, he goes with me everywhere and has done his job as a GSD by always being there for me and it breaks my heart that I can’t be there for him right now. I feel horrible. I have to do something he needs help, the infection can spread through his body and kill him, he has a lot of life to live and places to see with his Mommie. I can’t take that away from him. Please help, every little bit counts.

Also if the Vet bill happens to be less than the amount I get I will donate the rest to West LA German Sheperd rescue because there are a lot of big boys there that need a good home and people donating to them helped me to get my boy, so I would love to return the favor and help someone have the chance to receive the love and protection in their life my boy gave me!! 

This is a picture of the bump on his face, I took this 3 days ago and today it is bigger and from what the Vet told me they can pop and put a hole in his face and hurt his eye. My boy is miserable. Please help, like I said every little bit counts!!
