Lalo Chavez Cancer Treatment Fund

Lalo Chavez is a dear friend, co-worker, and a cherished member of his church and community. He is one of those rare human beings who is instinctively selfless, thoughtful and effortlessly generous with those he encounters. 

Over a year ago, Lalo began experiencing a persistent cough. He attempted to treat it but unfortunately found himself battling the bureaucracy of the insurance system. Meanwhile, the cough continued to worsen.

It was only recently that Lalo was able to get a proper diagnosis, and it is one that we all fear for ourselves or anyone we love. At the age of 41, Lalo has been diagnosed with cancer... Stage IV Sarcoma Lung Cancer. 

His reaction to this news was classic Lalo... positive, upbeat, and optimistic. He has started treatment, but he really needs some support.

We want him to get the best care and treatment possible, and every penny donated will help. Both the symptoms and treatment of his illness are going to make it difficult for him to work. He’s a tremendous human being and no one should have to worry about money when they are fighting for their life. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help with his medical bills and expenses.
