A scammed poor college student

Hello,
Please help a poor college student regain his lost money through an apartment rental scam.
The story started in February when I started to worry about not getting an apartment for the next school year. I then found an attractive deal close to my school online and contacted a man named "Kim Beekman". He disguised himself as a housing agent and proceeded to send me the rental application from a "landlord" that I never met. This is the only information about him online, which consists of his name, his phone number (which I'm sure now is a fake phone number that doesn't actually belong to him), and his supposed company named "Pacific Union Management" (which I did some research after sending him the money, which sums to $4500, and then found out that they don't even have an agent named Kim Beekman, should've done this beforehand but I were desperate for an apartment).

Being the fool and noob to housing rental that I was, I signed the lease (without meeting anyone in person and without looking at the apartment at all) and sent him the money, which consisted of $4500 as said above (security deposit, fees, and first-month rent).

This is the real listing from the actual organization that manages the property, which I found out because after sending the money, I went to the apartment unit and saw the sign of the organization right on the unit with the number that is completely different from Kim Beekman's phone number and contacted them.

Please please help a college student, I've already reported to the local police but there isn't a high chance I would be able to get my money back.
This is almost all the money my family has spare right now and I had to use all of my school loans to cover school expenses already, so now I'm running the big risk of not being able to apply and pay for housing next school year at all.
The funds from this campaign will be used for applying to, hopefully, a real apartment with a real agent (I promise to do my research this time, for the sake of my family and myself). I would hope to receive the funds as soon as possible to apply for housing because many deadlines are closely approaching.
I will be grateful for any support that I receive. I believe besides these devious people making money off naive people, there are still many good people out there. Whatever and however much support I receive from you, it will be amazing and will help me to continue my education without being homeless. Thank you so much!!!
