Buy a beer for marriage equality.

Donation protected
This week, we witness history unfold before us as Louisville attorneys argue for marriage equality in front of the United States Supreme Court. As friends of the legal team, we couldn’t be more proud that they are representing this important cause, our city and our state in front of the highest court in America.

But did you know that they accepted this case pro bono?

Though the attorneys did not request assistance, we can still give something in the form of a donation. Soon they will be headed back to Louisville with their ever-growing stack of case-related expenses. At the very least, we as supporters could chip in enough for dinner and maybe a beer to say, "Thanks, guys. You're doing pretty great."

Any donations will be divided evenly for expenses incurred since the start of the case (including travel, accommodations and food) among the five attorneys representing two offices:

Dan Canon, Joe Dunman and Laura Landenwich of Clay Daniel Walton Adams, PLC , S. 4th St., Meidinger Tower, Suite 101, Louisville, KY 40202

Shannon Fauver and Dawn Elliott of the Fauver Law Office, PLLC , 1752 Frankfort Ave., Louisville, KY 40206.

So give five bucks. Or five hundred. Either way, it's going to help some great people working for a great cause.
