Keith Wood Free Speech Case

Donation protected
My brother-in-law, Keith Wood, was arrested for simply handing out brochures about jury rights on a public sidewalk in front of the Mecosta County Michigan  Courthouse on November 24, 2015. The court set a $150,000.00 bond to try to force him to be in jail over Thanksgiving away from his wife and seven children and refused to appoint him a court-appointed attorney.

Keith has recently been found guilty of tampering with a jury even though there was no jury or trial the day that he was handing out educational pamphlets.  You can read my summary of the two day trial in the updates on this page.

He is appealing this guilty verdict of course since he is completely innocent of this charge.

I've started this campaign to help raise money to protect our freedom of speech and help Keith with his case. Cases involving constitutional rights can be a long and expensive process, especially when you're taking on a judge, a chief prosecutor, and the government.

Our freedom of speech is worth fighting for. We cannot stand by while we all lose our rights. Please help my brother-in-law.
