Little Tommy is an amazing boy who will accomplish great things with the help and direction of the many people in his life. Tommy has been diagnosed with a form of autism. He has wonderful parents, teachers, and family that teach and coach him in the daily learnings of life.
Along with these special people in his life he also needs the help of a special needs dog. These dogs make a significant impact on many aspects of life for a person with autism. The dog helps teach kids, give them companionship, and protection, calm them when sensory-overload takes over, teaches them trust, and helps keep tabs on them when they escape. The dogs can also sense when an attack is coming and helps calm them in order to prevent a full blown attack.
Along with the necessity of the special needs dog comes a great expense. Tommy's family could really use help in raising money to get him his special new companion. If you can, please help in donating to get them the help they need. Anything and everything is so greatly appreciated.
