The Kosa's need us more than ever

Donation protected
If you've visited this page before, you've heard the story how, on November 10th, Bryan Kosa was riding his motorcycle through Ballard when he was struck by a van.

Bryan and his cycle were wedged under the van, despite the efforts of an impromptu band of Good Samaritans to lift the van and free him. He was eventually rescued by the Seattle Fire Department and taken to Harborview Hospital where he died from his injuries the day before Thanksgiving.

Now, in addition to dealing with the loss of a husband and father, Bryan's wife, Tiffany, and their two boys, are faced with unpaid medical bills and one less person to bring home a paycheck each month.

Tiffany Heuman (Kosa) has been a long-time student and teaching assistant at the School of Visual Concepts. So we're asking her friends, students, colleagues, and total strangers to help us help her at this moment of incomprehensible need.

There is no way we can lift the crushing burden of such a terrible loss, but like those Good Samaritans in Ballard, we can give it our all and do something. What we can't do is simply stand by.
