Ms. Diane's Christmas Break Fund

I am a student at UNC Chapel Hill and a Granville Towers resident. Of the Granville Towers staff, one employee in particular has had a significant positive impact on myself and all other residents.
Ms. Diane works in the Granville Towers dining facility, called The Agora. Every morning I go to swipe my meal card, Ms. Diane meets me with a smile and genuine concern for my wellbeing. For example she not only asks how I am doing, but listens intently to my answers and offers whatever advice she can. Plus, when it's cold or raining she always reminds me to grab my jacket before I go outside. Ms. Diane's legitimate concern for those around her has never failed to brighten my day.
Unfortunately, once the fall semester is over Ms. Diane will likely be without a reliable income until the spring semester starts. In order to give back to someone who always goes the extra mile for her residents, I am hoping to raise money for a "Ms. Diane Holiday Fund." This money will go towards helping Ms. Diane support herself and her three young grandchildren during the Christmas Holiday.
After getting to know Ms. Diane and the positive impact she has on her residents, it is important that we give back to such a kindhearted individual. Helping Ms. Diane enjoy her Christmas holiday with her grandchildren is a great way for us to show our appreciation. Please make donations by December 10th!
