Prayers for Piper

In September of last year, Haylee and Albert Lenerville received the most exciting news of their lives. She was pregnant with their first child, due May 30, 2019! After a routine 20 week anatomy scan, they received a phone call that no parent should have. They were told that their little girls's heart wasn't formed or functioning. After further tests, it was found that their daughter, Piper, has Hypo-Plastic Left Heart Syndrome, a fatal heart defect without multiple surgical interventions. A series of at least 3 open heart surgeries will need to occur before the time Piper is 2-3 years old, the first being at the time of birth. None of which are a cure, but merely a bridge to eventual transplant. After meeting with multiple cardiologists, they have also found she has another heart defect called Intact Atrial Septum - something that along with HLHS is highly lethal and even more complicated. This is causing high pressure to build up in her lungs and adding additional stress on her brain. They are currently being seen at Phoenix Children's Hospital as well as Texas Children's Hospital. They are in very good hands and the teams working with them are willing to fight along side them. With all of this being said, the family is in need of a miracle both physically and financially. With the trips back and forth from Phoenix to Texas, medical bills, Albert still waiting to start a job, and the selling of their home, any help to this little family would be appreciated more than you know.
